Positive Psychology is the scientific study and application of personal strengths and potential which enable individuals, communities, couples and organisations to thrive. It is different from other branches of psychology which focus on illness, deficits and difficulties. Positive Psychology therapy and workshops are suitable and effective for anyone who feels like there could be more pleasure, meaning and purpose in their life and relationships.  Five areas of life have been identified as essential to a sense of wellbeing, prioritising positive emotions, engagement in challenge, quality of relationships, meaning in life and a sense of accomplishment.

Pioneered by Prof. Martin Seligman, Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky and Prof. Barbara Fredrickson,
Positive Psychology is the scientific study and application of the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable individuals, couples, families and communities to flourish and thrive.
